Hi, my name is Joe Kastelic and I am interning at Design Interface this summer.  I will be returning to the Cleveland Institute of Art in the fall as a Junior majoring in Industrial Design.  I also graduated from the University of Akron in 2006 with a B.S. in Marketing Management.

When I am not at school or Design Interface, I am working full-time at my custom furniture business (Play-Haus Design).  I have been building custom industrial furniture in Ohio City for the last 5 years.  Most of the material I use is reclaimed or salvaged wood.  I’ve made furniture for both residential and commercial clients.  I’ve built benches, dining tables, bars, coffee tables, shelving, beds, desks and more. You can check out some of my work at Play-Haus.com.  Thanks!
